IF IT DOESN’T FIT, DON’T FORCE IT
God’s timing is always the perfect time. If you are facing pressure on every side over certain issues of life, that’s the time when you need to pull back from taking rash decision in order to please people, especially in relationships. Because you have been waiting for a particular door to open; don’t just walk through any door that opens unexpectedly. You need to fast and pray well about it. You need to go to the Word of God for leading and confirmation. You need to get the nod of God whether the door is from Him, because, that door that opens unexpectedly to you could be a trap by the devil! Be discerning! Don’t just rush into the door!
God does not push; God leads. God does not force; God counsels. Don’t jeopardise God’s BEST for you by becoming impatient and forcing what does not fit into your life. It always ends it regrets. When you are trying to make something fit that does not fit; you are trying to force it to fit. There is only one possible outcome-BREAKAGE. In that process, you may mess up the whole puzzle of your life and never recover from it. So, if it does not fit, don’t force it! If it does not feel right, then it is not RIGHT; wait! Wait on the Lord, because, “whoever believes (in God’s promises) will not act hastily (Isaiah 28:16; Emphasis mine). Hold on and wait for the appointed time (Habakkuk 2:3). When it comes, it will not bring sorrow but singing and everlasting joy (Isaiah 35:1.
Shalom!
